The Story of Two Destinies

Five hundred years ago the Celestial Crown broke during a war. It used to hold light and shadow together, but once it shattered everything split apart.

Some kingdoms ended up stuck in constant daylight, others in endless night, and the forest in between turned into a place no one really belongs.

Now everything comes down to two girls. Amara is from the light kingdoms, but somehow she has shadow magic, which is basically a death sentence there. Aria grew up in the dark, but she can use light, which makes her just as unwanted.

They both end up in the same place for the same reason: running. The forest is the only place where neither side fully has control, so it is the only place they are not immediately hunted.

At the same time the fragments of the crown are starting to wake up again. People are starting to talk about the old prophecy, and everything keeps pointing back to them. Now they have a choice: fix what was broken, or let the world fall even further apart.

The Five Kingdoms

After the crown shattered, the world split into five distinct kingdoms: two bathed in eternal light, two shrouded in perpetual darkness, and one untouched.

Solara - The Dawn Kingdom

Ruled by warrior-priests who worship the sun. Amara was born here.

Aethermoor - The Starlit Realm

A kingdom of scholars and celestial mages who study the fragments obsessively.

The Verdant Expanse

The ancient forest that once connected all kingdoms now exists in perpetual twilight.

Umbral Deep - The Midnight Dominion

A kingdom where darkness is absolute. Aria was raised here.

Duskmere - The Twilight Shores

Once a coastal empire, now submerged in eternal dusk and haunted by the dead.

The Magic System

+

Magic in Eclipsed Realms is divided into three schools: celestial, shadow, and primal.

Celestial Magic

Drawn from the stars and sun. Used for healing, protection, and divine power.

Shadow Magic

Drawn from the void and the spaces between worlds. Used for stealth, illusion, and necromancy.

Primal Magic

Drawn from the natural world and used by druids and shamans.

The Prophecy of Twin Souls

+

When light bears shadow, and shadow bears light,

When twin souls meet in the forest's twilight,

Seven fragments scattered, seven paths converge,

To unite the crown or let the world submerge.

The prophecy speaks of two people, each carrying the opposite force inside them.

Malachar, the Shadow King

+

Once the most brilliant mage in the kingdom of Lumeria, Malachar served the queen before ambition corrupted him.

Warning: His followers are still searching for the fragments to free their master.
